A Walk Through Time

There's no better way to spend a fall day then taking a walk back through history in a quaint New England Town. The trees spotted with changing colors and pumpkins and mums everywhere adding extra fall festivity.  Today I took a little road trip and explored the village of Historic Deerfield. The day couldn't have been better for October. The sun bright but the air was still cool. A light breeze rustled up the leaves that had already fallen on the pathway we followed through the village. The smell in the air was a pleasant mix of leaves and the musky oaky scent of the old wood from the houses that lined the path. If you closed your eyes and breathed in deep for a moment you could be transported to another era.

So take a moment to stroll back through time...

The craftsman ship of everyday details like doorways is beautiful...

 A truly unique house color
Fall festivity was everywhere you looked
